About the chef

Juanita Rice was a CO District Judge from 1987 to 2009. She has received many awards for her work from the Universities of Colorado and Minnesota, the El Paso and Arapahoe County Bar Associations, and Girl Scouts of America, among others.

 

From 1995 to 1997, Rice lived and worked in rural Cambodia as a Senior Legal Advisor with the USAID funded Cambodia Court Training Project. A devout gourmet foodie, she spent her years there mastering traditional Cambodian cooking techniques.
